Financing For Your Business

Whether you're just starting out or trying to expand your business, at some time you will need some form of financing for your business.

The SBA's goal is to help new and growing business continue to succeed.  They offer financing options that run the gambit from a few hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars, all backed by a government guarantee.  Many haven't explored these options because they think that all the paperwork involved with dealing with the government isn't worth it.  The may have the answer with some of its low-doc options, so check them out.

If you're considering traditional bank loans, the first place you should shop for a loan is the bank that you currently do business with.  You already have a history with them and the process should go more quickly.

If you want to check out other options, BusinessFinance deals strictly with finding financing for businesses.  They have links to different lenders depending on what you might need financed as well as links to venture and private (angel) funding.  Lendingtree also gives you access to business loans, but mainly focuses on mortgage, equity, and personal loans.
